FAIR TRADE

The Fair Trade Stand has an exciting new feature product! Equal Exchange is collaborating with a The Cross Atlantic Chocolate Collective, an organization whose goal is to decolonize the chocolate market. Typically, in the world of chocolate growing and production, those who harvest the chocolate beans work for pennies and stay poor, while those who produce chocolate products reap the monetary benefits. The Cross Atlantic Chocolate Collective is working to enable its members to participate in all stages of growing and producing their own chocolate, from the seed to the delicious, finished product.

We Currently have a sampler of 9 mini bars, each created by growers/producers in 12 different countries, including the USA, retailing for $18.00. Stop by the stand to check it out, or visit their website at https://www.chocolaterebellion.com/ to learn more about this exciting new venture, and to see which countries are participating.

Thank you for your continued support,

Janine and Connie

WORSHIP ASSISTANTS NEEDED

AELC has long had members of our faith community directly participate in our worship services. Our readings and prayers of intercession can be made from the altar/lectern or pre-recorded and streamed during our worship services, whether the service is offered on-site or online. Simply indicate your choice when you sign up.

The reading and prayer will be provided to you via email/mail during the week prior to your scheduled Sunday service

If you wish to record the reading and/or the prayer of intercession for streaming during the worship service, you can do so on a phone, computer or camera, which is then loaded to a shared drive for our A/V personnel to access.

Although we use Signup Genius for ease of online sign up, you can also sign up through Gaye Dougherty at gayedougherty@gmail.com, call Gaye at 610-507-4562, or call Dee Constable at 610-775-2520 or email her at: office@aelc.org.

Thank you for considering participation in this important Church Ministry.
