AT class is an hour and a half time during our Faith Formation year, that our 7th and 8th graders are given the space, time, education, and community to prepare to be confirmed members of AELC and the Lutheran church as a whole.  We take this time discussing and experiencing what makes us Lutheran, what our role is in this world as a Christian, and enacting that role.  We focus on coming together as a class to serve our community in various ways, such as providing meals for Opportunity House, in helping prepare for our Family Promise host weeks, and in providing homemade dog treats for local rescue shelters.  Our class is a mix of fun, serious conversation, and faith.  I want our confirmands to leave this class confident in their decision to become members of AELC, and with a guiding path of where they are called as children of God.
